Our most prestigious suite, The Caperdonich, is, quite simply, extraordinary: the ideal choice for a honeymoon, or other momentous occasion.

It’s named after the now-lost Caperdonich distillery, which produced whisky for blending as well as independent bottlings.

Founded in 1897 by James Grant, co-founder of the Glen Grant distillery, it finally closed its doors in 2002.

With dual aspect windows commanding superb views of Ben Aigan to the east as well as the Craigellachie distillery in the distance, the suite includes an emperor-size four-poster Hypnos bed with elevated ceilings, and a mezzanine floor with a Victorian-style freestanding bath.

The warmth and comfort of the fireplace, together with exquisite furnishings, lends a feel of traditional opulence.

Meanwhile, the iPod Docking station, mood lighting, superfast broadband and two HD televisions – one controlled rise and fall at the foot of the bed – means you have access to every modern convenience.

“We booked the sumptuous 'Caperdonich' suite for a very special anniversary and we certainly weren't disappointed. Our evening meal with dear friends in 'Pagoda's' restaurant was delightful and the service throughout first-class, I can't recommend the Station hotel in my home town of Rothes enough! Great credit to owners, Richard and Heather Forsyth”

Dave

“Took friends for dinner and an overnight stay to celebrate a birthday. I had previously stopped for lunch in Toots last year and was impressed so thought we would treat our friends here. Perfect from start to finish. The rooms were amazing. Dinner and breakfast was faultless and the whisky/gin bar at the back is so impressive as was the service by all the staff we encountered. We will be back again.”
